Companies like Bear Family McDonalds, GNC, Web Marc Doors, Amici’s Club House, Fox Valley Volkswagen, Pizza Cucina, and Dairy Queen, as well as others, reached out with sponsorship donations to help the Patriots keep participation costs affordable for young boys and girls

Every sponsor is greatly appreciated. Our costs are the lowest in the fourteen city travel league we compete in. We enroll every child, regardless of financial situation, and we the need support of businesses to make it happen!

So what happens at Evaluations?
All players are different in terms of skill, experience and physical development. That’s why it is important at the youth football level to build teams with players of similar abilities. During Evaluation Week each player will be tested and evaluated on speed, strength, agility and aggressiveness, as well as football skills. Each day, the coaches will begin by running the players through some warm up exercises. Then players will be divided up and coaches will observe them as they perform various football drills. Contact will begin on the third night of evaluations and will be a controlled, gradual process. Care will be taken to match players of like size and ability during contact drills.
All players, including Head and Assistant Coaches’ sons, must be present for evaluations. If a conflict arises, please contact Chris Harris at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or at 630-457-0839.
The Draft Process
Once the coaches have had a chance to see all of the players in action, it’s time to select teams. This begins after Wednesday’s evaluations when the Gold coaches will conduct their draft. Players not selected in the Gold draft will continue the evaluation process on Thursday. At the conclusion of Thursday’s evaluations, the Silver coaches will begin their draft process. All players will be selected to a team and will be contacted no later than Saturday by their drafting team. Draft results are final. There will be no movement of players from Gold to Silver or from team to team once the draft process is completed. Exceptions for weight transfers will be made as necessary to ensure players are participating in the proper weight class.
No player can be promised to a team by any of our Patriot Coaches, pre-season or otherwise. If you are contacted by one of our coaches, and told you can play with them, this is not true. We cannot promise to keep friends together on the same team.
Assistant coaches will not be assigned to teams until after the draft process.
Once the draft is completed, each team will begin its regular practice schedule at the discretion of the coach.
What if my child wants to play on same team with his/her friend?
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee players on the same team.
Who will be my coach or how are coaches determined?
There will be a coach’s selection committee established and this committee will review last year survey data, coaches’ resumes and interviews as necessary. A coach's experience at different levels and specialty such as defense, offense, etc. is also considered in efforts to prepare evenly strong coaching staffs on teams.
It is mandatory that all of our Patriot Head Coaches are CPR certified. We do highly recommend that the assistant coaches are as well. The Patriots will be offering CPR classes in August.
All head coaches and 2nd year assistant coaches must also be NYSCA certified.
